3+ years proven relevant experience
Knowledge of printing processes and techniques would be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Attentive to detail and quality conscious
Ability to work extended hours as and when required
Good customer relations

The Digital Operator is primarily responsible for machine setting, operating, and maintaining the digital press within standard production efficiencies, whilst ensuring they meet customer specifications.

 

Suitable candidates require:

Candidates must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

3+ years proven relevant experience

Knowledge of printing processes and techniques

Ability to operate one or more or similar machineries, including HP Indigo

Able to work overtime and shifts, as and when required

Attentive to detail and quality conscious

Computer literate

·      Product knowledge: stand up pouches, doypacks, heat seal packs etc. for food, household and industrial

·      Knowledge of production procedures

Machine Minder (Lithographic Rotary Offset)

We is looking for a Rotary Offset Machine Minder to work in a fast-paced driven environment with custom product offering and quick turn-around projects.  

 

Duties & responsibilities

  • To ensure the efficient operation (Production and Quality) of the Press at all times as per client requirements
  • Ensure that the set up and adjustment of ink rollers, substrate, cylinders, dampers pressures, plates, registration etc. are done according to specification and in line with company policy
  • To ensure that quality is maintained throughout the print process.
  • Adhere to health and safety and ISO rules and regulations at all times.
  • Supervision, performance management and training and development of learners, apprentices, and Machine minder assistants
  • Delivering results and meeting customer and production expectations

 

Suitable candidates require:

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
  • Trade test certificate
  • 5+ years relevant experience
