What is Blow Mould Labels?
This technique is used for the production of hollow plastic parts. Blow mould technique would expand the material which would then take the shape of the mould.
Process
The IML label is inserted into the mould. During the blow moulding process, the molten polymer fuses with the in mould label on one or both sides.
The end result is a decorated packaging part.
Benefits
- Pre-decoration technique – labels become part of the finished pack during the production process and are highly durable and scratch-resistant
